On February 19, 2019, Thomas Giordano-Lascari co-presented "Foreign Trusts, the CFC Rules and the new GILTI tax," at STEP – San Diego with Brian P. Tsu of Higgs Fletcher & Mack LLP. The presentation covered the basics of controlled foreign corporations, discussed foreign trust ownership of CFCs, the basics of global intangible low-taxed income (GILTI), and Passive Foreign Investment Companies (PFIC).
