On July 19, 2019 Michael Karlin and Thomas M. Giordano-Lascari co-presented "Outbound Planning and Choice of Entity Considerations For Individuals" to NYU's School of Continuing and Professional Studies - Advanced International Taxation. The presentation explains the problems following the 2017 act as it pertains to structuring a new business, restructuring an existing business, special cases for U.S. citizens abroad and temporary U.S. residents, attribution rules, and repatriation planning.
