On January 18, 2019, Michael Karlin and Thomas M. Giordano-Lascari co-presented "The 2017 Tax Act: International Updates for the Trust and Estates Practitioner" at the American Bar Association (ABA) Section of Taxation in New Orleans. The presentation included a survey of existing tax rules, the changes following the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, planning possibilities, and issues for individuals, trusts, and estates.
