Thomas Giordano participated in a three-part series for the Taxation Section of the California Lawyers Association on International Aspects of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017. The first two installments in the series focused on planning with GILTI and FDII, respectively. The third installment focused on repatriation planning with the new participation exemption as well as changes in the foreign tax credit regime and previously taxed earnings and profits regime.
